Self-care… hmmm… this can be a tricky one. Especially when life is so busy. But I enjoy seeing the ocean during the course of the day - weather it’s a walk on the promenade, the water on my feet, or sitting on a bench staring into the distance. The sights, sounds and smells calm my soul. I also try set aside time (on just one day in the week) for a beauty/pamper regime where I can cram in the face masks, hair treatments, moisturizers and all the things I’ve wanted to do but haven’t🤣 rest is also a big deal for me… knowing when to say yes and when to say no to functions. Putting up healthy boundaries and valuing my time is so important.
